I want/need to learn to sew properly because I kind of desperately want a few perfectly fitted black pin-up pencil skirts and yes I know that’s not my usual silhouette and yes it’s showing more of my butt than I usually feel comfortable with but hey pretty skirts do want.

Practice using the machine/pedal with spare fabric. Sew in straight lines and practice using the foot and the the pedal to adjust/pivot with the needle down. Just practice sewing 2 pieces together and working the pedal. That way you don’t ruin you project
